During your stay at Il Biroccio, we warmly suggest you to visit the Azienda Agraria Guerrieri, which is only 40 minutes away by car, and enjoy the opportunity to have a first hand look at how some delicious products of this area are made. Every day of the year during the opening times, you will enjoy the landscape, surrounded by open green spaces and rolling hills, and will be free to:

• Have a walk through our vineyards and olive groves surrounded by rose and lavender bushes among our Marche region hills.

• Have a free tasting of their Wines, Spumanti , Sweet Wines and Passito, Spirits, Extra virgin olive oil and Honeys;

• Visit our experimental vineyard featuring 27 varieties of vines that are native of the Marche region;

• Access to their DIDACTIC ANIMAL FARM where you can meet native hens and roosters, colts, young goats, rabbits, doves, peacocks in our new barnyard. Moreover, you can spend time into their BEES WATCHING area, in order to see in first person the bees’ production of honey;

• Access to their farm store: a typical farmhouse of our region Marche, which wed skillfully modernized with a rural farmyard and an arbor between the wine cellar and the latest advanced technological olive oil mill.

In their farm store, you can buy all their products.

FREE GUIDED TOURS

We organize free guided farm and winery tours from half June to half September:
Monday –Wednesday – Friday at 17:30.
Duration: +/- 1.30

The tour includes:

• Presentation of the history, philosophy and activities of our farm;

• Walk through vineyards and olive groves surrounded by roses and lavender, with an explanation of the stages of farming grapes, olives and cereals;

• Visit to the experimental vineyard with 27 different grape varieties;

• Visit the advanced technological wine cellar and barrel room, with an explanation of the wine making process (plus, participation in the pressing of the grapes during harvest time – the end of August / September);

• Visit to the modern olive oil mill (plus, participation in the pressing of the olives during the harvest period October / November);

• Falconry Show with hawks, buzzards, owls and other birds of prey. On Wednesdays (from half June to half September);

• Guided free tasting of our Wines, Spumanti , Sweet Wines and Passito, Extra virgin olive oil and Honeys with all the information needed.

Furthermore, customized tours and tastings can be arranged every day or time of the week. In this case, we will apply a minimum charge for this service.

In addition, we always recommend you to book.

Tours take place even during bad weather.
