The Country House “Il Biroccio” offers one-week vacation dedicated to the physical wellness through the practice of Tai Chi Chuan and Yoga, far from noise or traffic just near the historic city of Urbino. The perfect opportunity to re-energize and regenerate yourself, to get away from the chaotic movements of body and mind and relax with breathing exercises, stretching and sequences, remaining in direct contact with the nature in a beautiful secluded spot between the hills of Marche. Everyone can participate since these disciplines give the possibility to adapt the practice to the needs of everyone, respecting their limits. It is therefore designed for beginners, but also for practitioners who wish to enrich their personal path in these disciplines. Tai Chi, Yoga, silence, relaxation and also good food for an unforgettable “inner” holiday!
What is Tai Chi Chuan ?
Ancient Chinese martial art based on the principles of Taoist philosophy , Tai Chi Chuan is , at the same time , therapeutic method , based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine , art, meditation , philosophy and refined self-defense technique. These aspects are inseparable.
It is possible to privilege some, according to their personal abilities, but no one should be overlooked if you want to come to a full understanding of this art.
Born in contrast to other more ” hard martial systems ” , Tai Chi Chuan , does not tend to develop muscle strength, but emphasizes the use of intention and , through its practice , characterized by slow movements , continuous and coordinated , develops the concentration , relaxation and awareness of the vital body to achieve inner balance .
It improves posture, stimulates circulation , loosens the joints , restores muscle tone , relieves tension and promotes energy balancing . The gradual improvement of their state of mental health , physical and spiritual , also helps to strengthen the personality , self-confidence and eliminate stress.
You can practice Tai Chi on your own or with a partner, in constant contact with oneself and with others. There are no age limits. Its practice is good for both young and old people.

Classes of vinyasa flow yoga through “asanas” ( poses ) with anatomy and history of Yoga.
