Horse Trekking
The Country House il Biroccio di Urbino in collaboration with the Maneggio Eden organises excursions and horseback rides of one or more hours in the splendid parks of Montefeltro. It is also possible to request and book individual riding lessons.
In the heart of the Furlo Natural Park, close to Monte Pietralata, the Maneggio Eden is home to horses that live as naturally as possible in spacious pastures or stables with paddocks. Breeds range from the thoroughbred Arabian to the Anglo, Argentine, Criollo, Trotter, Psi and Catria, a breed from the Marche region that they breed on the farm. Eden because a natural harmony is maintained between the free and therefore happy and grateful animals.
The horses available are suitable for everyone, beginners and/or experts. You will be followed and accompanied by Francesco – the owner of the riding school – in unique places and panoramas between the Metauro river and Mount Pietralata, with the possibility of observing the local fauna: foxes, fallow deer, roe deer, wild boars, wolves, porcupines, goshawks and the rare golden eagle that nests in the Furlo Reserve.
Fees:
Riding lessons of 1 hour: individual 25 €– more than one participant 20 €;
Trekking: 1 hour 30 €.
