How about a cool hike through the woods to some wonderful little pools surrounded by small waterfalls? It looks like the setting of a fairy tale, but they are real: Shiva Falls, Teria Pit!
They are located between Secchiano and Pianello, two hamlets in the municipality of Cagli, in the province of Pesaro-Urbino. The Teria is the main tributary of the Bosso River and has its source at Rocchetta del Monte Petrano, a beautiful walk immersed in the Bosso Valley, complete with waterfalls and crystal-clear water pools, surrounded by forest.
The route is well-marked, comfortable, about 1 km long, starting from a small parking lot on provincial road 29 that connects Secchiano to Pianello di Cagli, descending through the path that leads to the river, crossing the river and some fords continuing slightly uphill.
